It happened all so long ago
where he bloodied your nose, and scraped your elbow.
Now let it go it's all been said and done
I know you feel angered but you aren't the only one.
Remember that when he hurt you
he pissed me off too.
These obsessing thoughts are driving me crazy
just let it all go baby.
The way things happened it was for a reason
karma is what we must believe in.
Trust me hunny, he will get what's coming to him,
we just have to wait even if things appear dim.
Your mother needs us by her side
the look in her eyes is the pain described.
I can tell she is caught and torn
that her husband is at war with her first born.
Don't make it worse than it already is
your mother needs us to help her through this.
You know this as well as I
so no matter what, together we have to try.
That is most important keep it in mind
there is no reason to keep your thoughts unkind.
What's done is done, just let it all go
don't let this eat you alive and make you hollow.
